    Join us as we seek out NYC’s ghostly maritime history! Let us lead you through the West Village and by the Hudson River as we tell tales of spectral sailors, waterfront gangsters, pirates, murderers, poets, and other lost souls. We’ll show you where survivors of the Titanic were brought ashore in that cold April of 1912, and share macabre, sorrowful tales of the watery deep as we remember New York’s sometimes glorious, and often sordid, seafaring past

    Meeting Place: We we are meeting outside and in front of the Ear Inn, 326 Spring Street

    Take the C or E train to Spring Street and walk west. You can also take the 1 train to Houston St. and walk South along Varick to Spring.

    Private Walk


    for Jackie Martin and guests at her daughter's birthday party.

    Go in search of the spirits of the Algonquin Indians, Black slaves, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, P. T. Barnum's American Museum, Captain Kidd, Trinity Churchyard and of City Hall Park. We will also tell the true story of Edgar Allan Poe and Marie Roget. We will also perform an exorcism to lift the curse that prevents mayors of New York City going on to higher office.

    This tour departs from 38 Park Row, adjacent to Starbucks in Manhattan.

See how sailing vessels from Henry Hudson's Half Moon to Robert Fulton's Clermont forever changed New York City. Imbibe the glamorous and sometimes tragic history of the last of the luxury liners – including a certain ill-fated ship called the Titanic that never made it ashore. Let our guides paint a picture of the people who lived and worked on the wharves in days gone by, from colonists and immigrants, to merchants and captains, and, of course, sailors and pirates, gangsters, and thieves!
